Meet Sofia Naseem
Meet Sofia Naseem
My journey in real estate involves a collection of my personal and professional experiences, and they have all shaped my unwavering passion for helping individuals fulfill their dream of home ownership. Before officially becoming a licensed real estate agent, my foundation was laid through years of immersion in this industry. At the young age of 17, I moved from England to the United States with the goal of becoming a lawyer. However, as it often does, life took a different turn, and entrepreneurship within the realm of real estate became my new focus.
An adventure across the world and the pursuit of a legal career helped me become who I am today—a dedicated real estate professional. My husband and I jumped into property ownership at just 20 years old, sharing a vision that resulted in a sizable portfolio of properties by the time I turned 30. During my early twenties, I also attended Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, which helped me hone my communication skills and instilled in me a deep sense of discipline that later proved to be quite valuable. It wasn't until 2020 that I earned my real estate license with the intention of exclusively handling personal property transactions. However, referrals and word-of-mouth carried me further, leading to over 20 successful transactions in just my first two years as a Realtor.
What Our Clients Say
Sofia Naseem was representing us for our primary house. She was very professional and did more than expected. There was great communication and she was always there for any questions that we had. We recommend Sofia to anyone who wants to buy or sell real estate!
Extensive market knowledge, professionalism, high communicative skills, and willingness to help After Sofia helped us purchase a condo, she again successfully helped us purchase this townhome. She was very responsive and ready to help at any time and for any issue. She has extensive knowledge not only in local markets but in home remodeling as well. When we found the kitchen cabinet drawers did not pull well, she quickly fixed them. On the day of closing, the seller did not put the missing kitchen cabinet door back as promised, she stand firm and made sure that the new cabinet door was installed before informing us to wire the funds. Since we’re out town buyers, she did many things for us willingly and initiatively including the final walk-through. After closing, she continued her support and help to this day. We’re very grateful to her and she will be our realtor for life!

Self-managing sounds cheaper… until one bad tenant changes everything. A lot of Florida investors think managing a rental themselves will save money, but the real question is: do you have the time, systems, and experience to handle tenant issues, maintenance calls, screening, and legal timelines? For some owners, self-managing makes sense. For others, a strong property manager protects the investment and keeps things running smoothly, especially if you own multiple properties or live out of town. The best investors know when to stay hands-on and when to delegate. Follow @sofianaseemrealtor for more Central Florida real estate tips, market insights, and listings for buyers, sellers, and investors.
Buying property in Central Florida from the UK is more common than you'd think, and the process is smoother than most people expect. Here's what actually happens: You don't need to fly in. Most international buyers close remotely using a power of attorney or mobile notary services arranged by the title company. Documents get signed digitally or at a UK notary, then couriered or transmitted electronically. Wire transfers handle the funds, and FIRPTA rules apply when you eventually sell, so it's worth knowing the tax implications upfront. A few things that matter most: Work with a lender experienced in foreign national loans (financing is absolutely possible without a US credit history). Open a US bank account early to make wires and HOA payments easier. Have a local agent who can do video walkthroughs, attend inspections on your behalf, and flag anything off about the property or neighborhood. Distance shouldn't stop you from owning in one of the fastest-growing regions in the country. Save this if you've been thinking about it, and follow @sofianaseemrealtor for more on buying, selling, and investing across Central Florida.
Here's something a lot of Central Florida buyers don't realize until it's too late: the school zone tied to a home isn't always the closest school, and zones get redrawn more often than you'd think. Districts like Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake each have their own boundary maps, and a single street can separate an A-rated school from one that's still climbing. Before you fall in love with a house, pull the address through the district's school locator (not just the listing site), check if the zone is up for review, and ask about magnet or choice options that could open doors outside your assigned school. The right zone can protect your resale value, your child's experience, and your long-term plans. Save this for when you start touring homes, and follow @sofianaseemrealtor for more Central Florida real estate insights you can actually use.
